In addition to the two surface ships and the submarine, the park also displays a variety of historical vehicles and aircraft operated by the US Armed Forces, including a Gyrodyne X-Ron 1 Rotorcycle one-man helicopter; an M41 Bulldog tank used in the Korean War; a Marine Corps M-84 armoured personnel carrier; a UH-1 Huey helicopter flown during the Vietnam War; an F-101 Voodoo interceptor aircraft flown by the New York Air National Guard's 136th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station; a Nasty-class Fast Patrol Boat used in Vietnam; a US Navy FJ-4 Fury fighter jet; a Second World War US Air Force P-39 Airacobra built by Bell Aircraft in Buffalo; and the sail and upper rudder of the decommissioned Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Boston (SSN-703).
In 2003, the park shifted the vessels to the foot of Pearl and Main Streets so that they are now adjacent to Buffalo's Canalside district. A new museum building and a restaurant were also added in the 2010s.
Of note, on 16 December 2017, the new Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) USS Little Rock (LCS-9) was commissioned at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, next to its namesake cruiser. This was the first time in history that a US Navy vessel was commissioned alongside a predecessor bearing the same name.
